10th February, Zonda YCK6180HC city bus, Zonda YCK6128HEC pure electric bus and Zonda YCK6128HEV hybrid city bus were operated their trial running in YanCheng. These buses fully displayed the powerful ability of innovation of Zonda Bus Group and were received by Yancheng citizen. YanCheng Deputy Mayor Ding Jianqi, Deputy Secretary of Yancheng Public Security Bureau Jiang Xueru, Secretary of Yancheng Construction Bureau Jiang Hua and President of Zonda Group Xu Liankuan attended the trail running ceremony.

Zonda YCK6128HEC pure electric bus is researched and innovated by Zonda Bus Group in 2009. The bus can drive 500,000 kilometers in one charge, battery running above 500 kilometers with energy consumption lower than 5kW.h/100km.t, and the economical speed is at 70km/h and the maximum grade ability is larger than 20 degrees. And it can recover energy during the bus’s sliding. Compared with the traditional fuel vehicles, the bus has obvious advantages on energy-saving, the core values of which are the replacement of traditional energy sources and zero emission.

Zonda YCK6128HEVC hybrid city bus is another achievement of Zonda Bus Group to take over new energy market. This bus uses energy efficient assembly of traditional passenger bus in maximum, and fuel-saving rate reaches over 20% with the configuration of parallel hybrid electric drive system. At the same time, the bus has very reliable system. More ever, the cost of the use and maintenance of the bus system is lower, with no need of external charging. During the 8 years of using super-capacitor group, the bus needs no replacement of the whole group, and other electrical system also needs no maintenance.

YanCheng Deputy Mayor Ding Jianqi said that BRT was a large capacity transport which can effectively ease the traffic pressure, improve the urban quality and optimize the urban style. It marked that Yancheng BRT project had got great progress that Zonda BRT operated in YanCheng and provided valuable experience for Yancheng to the construction of rapid transit system.

The trial running of Zonda new energy bus aimed at responding to the call of the country on energy-saving emission reduction, and made efforts to the widespread of new energy vehicles and created zero-emission to contribute to build an economical and environment-friendly community. Zonda Group would take this trial running as a new start, and comprehensively improved the research and development level to strive to realize the industrialization of new energy vehicles in June this year.
